In 2011 in  Insidious it was the Boy who was haunted in 2013 it looks like the house will deliver the scares as James Wan returns to conjure up more supernatural creepiness in The Conjuring, watch the UK Trailer.

The Conjuring is set in the 1970’s based on the true story of the Perron Family who move into what they believe is their ideal family home in Rhode Island, USA only find its haunted. The family hire the services of husband and wife demonologists / psychic investigators team Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine (Vera Farmiga) Warren to solve the families unwanted guests a case which is to become the Warren’s most horrific case ever.

After 2011’s unexpected hit Insidious James Wan has certainly exceeded expectations by delivering genuine scares something that has been lacking in the horror that past few years has been lacking in. It’s also nice to see a trailer that doesn’t spoil the broth by giving everything away, this looks a well cut trailer which teases  effectively well of course keeping the big scares to the film’s release. Wan seems to have taken the winning formula and expanded it to deliver something unsettling and wont disappoint just don’t ask someone to clap as it might not be the person you want to clap, clapping!!!

The Conjuring arrives in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 19th July, the film also co-stars  Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland, MacKenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver and Sterling Jerins.
